Sewing
I
made this pink swing jacket for my sister's birthday.
It's wool lined with flannel backed satin.
It also has embroidery on the sleeves and lapels.
This is
Maggi's bag. It is denim and cotton. The denim is from old
blue jean pants so it is a recycle project. The cotton squares are
folded and embellished with glass seed and bugle beads. The
lining and out strap are flocked lavender fabric and there is a small
pocket on the lining on each side.
This
is the Princess Templeton bag. This was my sister's Christmas
present. The bottom, straps, and pocket are made out of denim
jeans and the rest of the bag is thin whale pink corduroy. It is
lined with a maroon/berry colored chintz. I like the pattern but
would modify it to be a little larger next time I think. The
embroidery was done on my Happy Voyager.
This
is the Maggi's 2010 Pirate Christmas! I have a dress that
coordinates but I can't seem to find any pictures of me in it. Hmm. Maggi's pirate shirt is an upcycle of an old outfit of mine that is a little too worn in spots and too large for me.
This is my
bag from Christmas 2010. I made my dress, Maggi's pirate outfit,
and the bags for all of us gals. The bags were really fun to make
with the metal handles, I sewed a bead between each hole on the handle.
This is rest of the gals at Christmas. My sister did the sewing on the outfits for her and Audrey and Cathy's shirt.
