Clay
This
is Mooie, my first attempt at a dragon. I think she has cow eyes, hence
the names. I followed directions from Christi Friesen's "Dragons" book,
most of my clay sculptures so far use her style. The beads are
real pearl, semi-precious stones, and swarovski crystals.
This is my
second
CF style dragon - Sleepy. His tail got a little overcooked.
His beads are all garnet.
This
is my next dragon, Rainbow Small-Frie. I tried to make him a little
smaller than the others since I wanted them to be jewelry. His
beads are glass, swarovski crystals, and semi-precious stones.
I'll have to add measurements of them.
This is
Tree Boy.
He's peeking out from some foliage and uses all glass beads.
See the little glass leaf beads?
This
is Goldie.
She is a small dragon and my first attempt at using cernit clay.
Since she's made out of cernit she should therefore
be stronger than the others which are made out of sculpey III.
She is coppery color with golder overtones. The beads used
are pearls and swarovski crystals.

This
is Peaches. She is a smaller dragon made out of cernit clay.
She is a peachy/salmon color. The foliage with flowers is
a separate bead. The beads used are pearls and swarovski crystals
with a glass bead eye.

This
is my
first CF style frog. His beads are all just large glass seed
beads.
This now lives with cousin Jessi, I'm sure he's a happy frog.:)
These are 3
components for a frog necklace. His beads are glass seed beads
and crystal eyes.

This
is
Turtle Dude. His beads are semi-precious stones.

This
is
Tomin. The center of his back is a semi-precious flat stone with gold seed beads
and glass eyes. He is made of cernit clay.
Now my
flora...
I
have a bunch of floral and leafy sculptures. Not sure what to do
with any of them yet. Some may be jewelry such as broaches some
day, others maybe incorporated into other works. Thinking about
room name plaques with these as part of the decorative edging or
something? Not sure.

This flower now live with my cousin Jessi. Enjoy!

These are my newest clay pieces, they will probably become
pins/broaches.
These are my beautiful peacocks Peaches on the left and Herb in the
middle. Peaches and larger pink flower now have pin backings on
them. We'll see how the clay holds up. Peaches and Herb
both have swarovski crystals on their tail feathers and head
feathers. Herb has a large class wing bead in his center.
The pink flower has a blister pearl in the center of the flower and
pearls in the leafy...pod I guess.

This is the smaller of the pink flowers and is much flatter. I'm
going to test the water with the larger, more raised pink flower pin
and go from there. This flower has a pearl in the center of the flower
and a large, pink blister pearl

This is my sea creature. It is in 3 parts and supposed to become
a necklace. It has glass beads, stone beads, swarovski crysatal
beads and pearl within it's scaley... scales.

This is the blue flower pin. The pearls were a nice bright blue
until they went into the oven. Hmm. These are the only
pearls I've yet to use where this has happened.

Blue lizard boy is wrapped around a large chrysocolla bead. Isn't
he a cutey?

And blue turtle boy. He has a pearl in the center of his shell and
swarvski crystals on his shell. He has since been finished with a
glossy coat and needs a new picture.

This is a steampunk-ish pink floral piece using watch pieces and
swarovski crystals.

This is similar to the large pink and blue floral pieces.
It has glass beads for the flower center and red pearls in a leafy pod
on the side.

This little guy is guarding my green garnet pendant, cute, huh?

My newest little peacocks. These guys could be made into
anything, including necklace pendants since they're smaller than the
last 2.
